Mechanics of Materials laboratory 

In this lab, the students learn experimentally how to perform the various tests to evaluate the mechanical properties of the material, especially the metals and alloys. Moreover, they recognize the standard test specimens and methodology that followed in tests. The following tests are performed for this propose.

1.     Bending test.

2.     Tensile test

3.     Compression test

4.     Shear test (single shear)

5.     Shear test (double shear)
