Mechanics of Machines laboratory
Mechanics of Machines laboratory
In this lab, the students learn experimentally the following
1. Crank-slider mechanism.
2. The
relation between the crank angle and the sliding distance in presence of
slotted link using Slotted Link
mechanism.
3. The
relations among crank angle, crank length, coupler length and rocker length on
the rocker position using the Four- bar mechanism.
4. Position analysis of linkages: Quick-return mechanism
5. Balancing of rotating masses- Dynamically
6. Balancing of rotating masses-statically
7. Create
the profiles of different cams and
follower.
8. Demonstrator for lathe Gearing layout.
9. The
relations between the meshing gears through the Geared
system apparatus
10. The
relations between the pulleys that transfer power using belts through the
Pulleys system apparatus.
11. The
transfer power through friction using pulleys through the Pulleys system
apparatus.
12. The
working theory of Hooke's coupling explaining the effect of deflection
angle of the driver shaft on the variation of driven shaft angle.
13. The
relation between the crank angle and the sliding distance using
Crank-slider mechanism.
14. The
relation between the crank angle and the sliding distance in presence of
slotted link using Slotted Link
mechanism.
15. The
relations among crank angle, crank length, coupler length and rocker length on
the rocker position using the Four- bar mechanism.
16. Position analysis of linkages: Quick-return mechanism
