Department head tasks
1. Presiding over the department council, supervising the
organization of its affairs, inviting attendance at its sessions, implementing
its decisions, and sending the minutes of its sessions to the college dean.
2. Achieving higher goals and policies at the university.
3. Implementing the decisions of the College Council in relation to
the department.
4. Supervising the preparation of the department's strategic plan
and following up on its implementation.
5. Supervising the department of educational, research,
administrative, financial and cultural affairs.
6. Supervising the administrative, academic and research
development of the department.
7. Supervising the processes of developing the department's
relations inside and outside the university.
8. Supervising the provision of all the department's educational,
research, administrative and financial requirements.
9. To carry out the powers delegated to him by the dean of the
college.
10. Reporting to the Dean of the College of any violations
committed by a faculty member or the like in violation of the required duties
or any other violations.
11. Submit a report on the progress of graduate studies in the
department to the Dean of the College and the Dean of Graduate Studies at the
end of each academic year.
12. Supervising the various student activities in the department.
13. Supervising the academic development process for the department's
programs.
