I am pleased to welcome you to the Department of Civil Engineering at the College of Engineering in Unaizah at Qassim University. The Department of the Civil Engineering is considered the earliest program approved when the college was founded in 1431 AH, and one of the most prominent applied science in the Kingdom that keep pace with development requirements in Saudi Arabia. The department is formed of an elite group of professors who hold PhDs in most civil engineering disciplines to serve and fulfill the program and college missions. The department is committed to fulfill the best educational practices and offer the latest applied laboratories that raise the level of quality Assurance of the program. The Civil Engineering Department aims to prepare qualified engineers who have the capability to keep pace with improvement within the civil engineering sector and fulfillment to achieve the Kingdom’s vision 2030, which aims to achieve sustainable development and face challenges in the next stage. Furthermore, the department committed to participate in the creative research of faculty members that meets and touches the goals of the vision. The department is committed to the highest quality standards, which guarantees the quality of the program outcomes and keeping pace with the requirements of the industry and market sectors.

            My role as the head of the departments is to strive to develop the educational process in a way that meets with sustainable development requirements and the advancement of the learning process by providing our students with the best knowledge and engineering skills practices that enable them to lead in their fields of Engineering, I will also work with colleagues in the department to achieve best quality assurance practices and obtain the accreditation from the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA).
