On behalf of all the faculty members, welcome to the webpage of the Electrical Engineering Department, Unaizah college of Engineering at Qassim University.

The program has started on mid of 2013 in order to meet the demand of Electrical Engineers which help the economic growth in industrial sectors and serve 2030 vision.

As the main mission of the department states, the department aims to prepare electrical engineers with the knowledge, skills and values necessary to meet the needs of the labour market in accordance with quality standards and contribute to community service and scientific research. To achieve that, the Department of Electrical Engineering at Qassim university provides two main streams of study which are the Electrical Power Engineering (EPE) and the Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE). These goals are achievable by the unique group of faculty members from specialized Electrical Engineering fields such as Electronics Engineering, Communications Engineering, Power Systems, Machines, Power Electronics, Control Systems, Digital Systems, Signal Processing and Biomedical Engineering.

The department also has a strong infrastructure to provide the best possible experience to the students by means of well-prepared class rooms and many well-equipped laboratories such as electrical machines laboratory, electrical drives laboratory, power electronics laboratory and power system laboratory in addition to basic laboratories such as electronics laboratory, logic design and electrical circuits laboratory.
