Program Mission
Prepare electrical engineers with the knowledge, skills and values necessary to meet the needs of the labor market in accordance with quality standards and contribute to community service and scientific research
Program Goals
1. Provide engineering education
that meets the requirements of quality standards.
2. Achieve comprehensive knowledge
in electrical engineering and develop students' scientific and professional
abilities.
3. Develop students' communication
skills, leadership, teamwork and professional ethics.
4. Enhancing the role of applied research and community partnership in meeting the requirements of sustainable development.
Program Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:
K1. Demonstrate principal knowledge of mathematics, sciences and electrical engineering fundamentals, and modern technologies with the ability to use them for solving electrical engineering problems. (SAQF-K1) (QUGA 1.1).
K2. Show detailed knowledge and understanding of engineering economy and management principles, theories and strategies associated with it. (SAQF-K2) (QUGA 1.1).
K3. Illustrate proficiency standards, understanding of the research-driven and project planning formats in working practice with different techniques for professional electrical engineering practices. (SAQF-K3), (UGA 1.1)
K4. Identify important requirements of societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to professional electrical engineering practices. (SAQF K3), (QUGA 1.1)
Skills:
S1. Apply advanced statistical or mathematical techniques required for communication skills to achieve electrical engineering problems and creatively apply them in interpreting information and proposing solutions across various cultural and organizational contexts. (SAQF-S1), (QUGA 2.1)
S2. Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking skills to analyze, develop, and implement effective electrical power engineering solutions that meet industry standards, tools and software to create innovative design solutions. (SAQF-S4), (QUGA 2.1)

Evaluate approaches and methods to investigate electrical engineering problems using designs and practical experiments research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data as well as to analyze and interpret data to draw valid conclusions.
